AH-64 "Apache" & Staples Easy Button: Getting It Done in Iraq

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
"I'm an AH-64 "Apache" pilot stationed at LSA Anaconda, north of Baghdad, and I took a few pictures of the Easy Button, which we had installed in each aircraft. It seems to work pretty good in that every time they start shooting at us, we press the Easy Button and the enemy just runs away. I think the battery is wearing out from all of the times we use it. OK, maybe not, but it makes for a good picture anyway."
Sincerely,

CPT Randy Stillinger
Commander
HHC, 1-149th Attack Helicopter Battalion
LSA Anaconda - Balad, Iraq

Risking Lives to Save Seconds

The following situation happened a couple of weeks ago:
I was in a cab traveling to work. What happened next blew the cabbies and my mind. Setup: Stopped at a light and one car in front of us. The light is about to turn green and out shoots a jogger. Now the light turns green, the car in front jets to beat this guy jogging and almost hits him. It was like the driver of the first car valued that extra 3 seconds of waiting to risk almost hitting a innocent jogger. Also fellow drivers wherever they are destined to have this since of urgency. I mean if you really need to get there and its urgent should you plan that ahead of time. I mean it literally blows my mind. As soon as we step inside our auto there is a sense of urgency no matter what is going on.For hells sake do we really live in a world that time of mere seconds is worth risking a life? This happens on a regular basis around the city, in various scenarios. Please just plan a little and remember we are all going somewhere!

What's so Great?

What is so great about MySpace and Facebook? After hearing about how great they are and being surrounded by controversy, I had to get an account. After browsing several of my co-workers sites I am very confused. I do not know why there is such following. All they contain are people that don’t really know each other saying “How y’doin?” and “We should hang out some time”. I believe that they are the largest waste of time. No one really cares if they connect otherwise they would pick up the phone and reach that “lost friend”.
